On this page ZP discusses and illustrates our technology stack, described as sensor to API (Application Programming Interface) and its application to measuring the State of Health (SoH) and State of Charge (SoC) of a Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB).
In the adjacent video we describe how the ZP technology can be used to monitor the SoH of the flow cell, whilst voltammetry and potentiometry can be used to directly to detect the speciation in the reservoirs/holding tanks, confirming the SoC in the battery/cell.
The application described on this page is part of Zimmer and Peacock's wider drive to support Industry 4.0, which we see flow batteries as an important part.
