INTRODUCTION
ZP is a leading ISO13485 contract developer and manufacturer of biosensors for Neurosciences and Neuroscience IVDS.
In this workshop ZP will provide a technical introduction to electrochemistry, electroanalytical techniques and their application to biosensors, IVDs, Point-of-Care (PoC), Point-of-need Applications. The trainers adjust the delivery of the workshop content based on the backgrounds of the delegates.
WORKSHOP LEADER
The workshop will be lead by Dr Martin Peacock
DATE and TIME
9:30 AM to 4 PM 7 September 2023
LOCATION
The workshop will centred at ZP’s Coventry facility:
University of Warwick, Science Park, Unit 4B, Vanguard Centre, Coventry CV4 7EZ

SUMMARY
In the morning attendees will be at ZP’s facilities and laboratories and after lunch we will go to the University of Warwick for tissue experimentation.
Attendees can expect to receive the theory, and to go into the lab and do their own experiments and make their own sensors. All experiments and learning will be in the context of neuroscience relevant sensing, electrochemical biosensors and IVDs.
1) Introduction to Biosensors for Neuroscience
2) Introduction to Biosensors and IVDs in the clinical setting
3) Hands on Neuroscience biosensor fabrication and testing in the ZP lab – every delegate will make and test a biosensor
4) Introduction to Developing a Commercial Biosensor/IVD
5) Hands on Laboratory Practical at University of Warwick – the use of microbiosensors in cell culture experimentation
6) All attendees receive a certificate of attending
