ASTA 20.1 Extractable Colour refers to a standardized method used to determine the colour intensity of spices, especially capsicum products like paprika and chili powder.

 

ZP through our FoodSense brand is delighted to launch our SIA ASTA 20.1 Extractable Colour  instrument. This is by far the quickest easiest to use test for extractable colour for  spices, , especially capsicum products like paprika and chili powder.

 

This new instrument now complements our existing chilli sensing technology in that the ZP FoodSense technology stack now allows for the measurement of Scoville Heat Units (SHU) of chilli and chilli derived products, whilst our SIA ASTA 20.1 Extractable Colour  instrument will give you the ASTA extractable colour for your product.
